  • (May 15-17 Opening Weekend                                                                                            ** Maryland Weekend **
    Fiesta Weekend
    Start the camping season off right with a Mexican Fiesta.  On Saturday there will be a Potluck, bring your favorite Mexican dish to share, beverages will be provided.  Piñata full of candy and prizes for the kids.  Time to meet new and returning campers!
  • (May 22-25)  Memorial Day Weekend   
    Family Games & Sunday Night Dance Party
    Heated Pool Opens!  Annual family tournaments in Frisbee Golf and Wiffle Ball.   Charity Bingo ($) is on Saturday evening.  Proceeds will be matched by Shadow Brook Campground and benefit Focus on the Family. Our Sunday Night Dance Party at 6:30pm will feature the sounds of The Peaceful Country Band for your entertainment.  Lastly, remember to pray for our troops and our country!
  • (May 29-31 Movie Night                                                                                            ** New Hampshire Weekend **
    Family friendly movies will be showing in our Rec Center on Saturday evening.
    On Sunday at the Fly Creek Cider Mill presents Big Rigs - Brookwood School's Big Rigs! Big trucks, equipment, emergency vehicle and heavy machinery converge on the Mill for children to explore. Benefit for Cooperstown's Brookwood School. Entrance fee, free parking.
  • (June 5-7 Mother’s Appreciation Day                                                                          ** Massachusetts Weekend **
    Pancake Breakfast cooked by Dads for Moms on Saturday morning - Chef Tom will be coordinating the meal.
  • (June 12-14)  Flag Day & Family Bingo Night  
    Come join us for a patriotic game of family bingo ($) with prizes.
  • (June 19-21)  Father’s Day Weekend & The Hall of Fame Classic Game
    Fishing Contest & Tug-o-War

    Dad join your sons and daughters in the Fishing Contest.  There will also be a fun afternoon of Tug-o-War—Fun for all ages. 
    The Hall of Fame Classic Game - Also 2009 brings a brand new event to Cooperstown that is a must for Baseball fans young and old. The Hall of Fame Classic game will be held on historic Doubleday Field over Father’s Day weekend. The inaugural Hall of Fame Classic will feature four Hall of Famers and more than 20 other retired major leaguers. Along with the exhibition game, there will be a weekend of activities, including a hitting contest and autograph sessions.
  • (June 26-28)  School’s Out!!!  Family Game Weekend
    Join us for a fun weekend of hayrides and fun family games like kickball & paddle boat races.  
  • (July 2-5)  July 4th Weekend
    Independence Day Celebration & Christian Concert Series - “Singing for Jesus”
    Join our bike parade & site decorating contest, prizes for the best decorated bikes & sites!  There will be Friday Night Entertainment by a Contemporary Christian Artist.  Saturday afternoon will be the Annual Christian Concert Series “Singing for Jesus”.  This year we are so blessed to present several bands and vocalists to praise & worship our Amazing God, Jesus Christ.  And following this great weekend we will have a church service on Sunday morning out at our swimming pool, led by Pastor Bradly Thomas Wilder.  Aerial fireworks display in Cooperstown on Saturday evening.  (

  • (July 17-19)  Christmas in July
    A favorite!  Bring your decorations for a site decorating contest.  Also a small gift for Santa to give to your child.  Caroling & story time aboard a hayride, followed by fun with Santa.
  • (July 24-27)  Hall of Fame Weekend
    The National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction will be held on Sunday, July 26th at the Clark Sports Center.  The 2009 Induction Class will include Rickey Henderson, Jim Rice and Veteran’s Committee electee Joe Gordon.
  • (July 31 - August 2)  Ice Cream Social
    We’ll scoop it, you top it with your favorites ($).
  • (August 7-9)  Making Marriage Last Weekend
    Join us for a fun filled weekend of marriage workshops.  God's perfect design for marriage will be explored using materials from FamilyLife and Focus on the Family, to name a few.  So if you want to spend some quality time with your spouse and God, please join us.  Events will start Friday evening and resume on Saturday morning for the day. ($)
  • (August 14-16)  Beef Roast & Birthday Celebration Weekend
    Come celebrate our little one’s 6th birthday, we will have our annual roast ($) and party games for the kids.  This year it will be a side of beef, bring a covered dish to share, beverages and dessert will be provided.
  • (August 21-23)  Movie:  FIREPROOF - Sponsored by Community Bible Chapel
    We would like to invite you to view the new movie FIREPROOF on Saturday evening.  This is a very well done and moving story of a young couple endeavoring to grow in their marriage.  Many that have watched it have been changed - and in response to that, their marriages have been rekindled to obey God!  We are excited to have Community Bible Chapel sponsor this film and seeing what God will do as He places His great and loving hands upon us and our families!  "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh."  Genesis 2:24

    On Saturday & Sunday the Antique Engine Show & Fly Creek Day Tent Sale - Restored gas engines and farm machinery of the past. Held at the Fly Creek Cider Mill and sponsored by Papa's Antique Engine Club, this event is free. On Saturday, the Mill will hold its annual tent sale in conjunction with Fly Creek Day, a community-wide celebration with yard sales, food, entertainment and special activities.
  • (September 4-7)  Labor Day Weekend
    Take the last dip in the pool for the season.  And join us for Swim Races and a Green Submarine Hunt (capture an oiled watermelon in the pool).  Join us for a fun night of Karaoke on Saturday at 7:30pm. 
  • (September 11-13 Grandparent’s Day Weekend
    Treat the grandchildren to a campout!  Evening campfire with Smores and singing.  Bring your musical talents and instruments to join in the fun!
  • (September 18-20)  Special State Weekend                                                                   ** Pennsylvania Weekend **
    Cooperstown Rotary Apple Fest at The Fly Creek Cider Mill featuring Music, Antique Tractors, Apples and Family Fun hosted by the Cooperstown Rotary Club and sponsored by regional businesses. Hours are 10 am to 5 pm Saturday and 12 to 5 pm Sunday. Donation fee, free parking.

    Pumpkin Fest '09 activities held on Saturday & Sunday.
  • (October 2-4)  Special State Weekend                                                                                 ** New York Weekend **
  • (October 9-12)  Columbus Day Weekend
    Apple-bobbing, Hayrides, Smores, and Evening campfire.  Our 5th Season (and Shadow Brook’s 45th Season) comes to a close.  Join us on our closing weekend for a Saturday evening potluck.  Please bring a hot covered dish to share, beverages will be provided.  Also, while your in town enjoy the Cider Festival at the Fly Creek Cider Mill.
